Short piece of information about Brno airport

Brno Turany airport is situated in south-east part of city of Brno approximately 8 kilometers from city centre. It is second biggest airport in the Czech Republic. Due to long-term increasing number of passengers served here (growth of passenger throughput was more than 80% last year), it was resolved to build new terminal bulding. On 18st September 2006, new departure hall was put under the operation.
